The wedding of Fran and David will go down in the books as one of the most special that Soul Creations has ever captured— for many reasons. The groom, David, is the brother in law of Sinikka, and his beautiful bride, Francesca, one of Sinikka’s closest friends. Sinikka wore lots of hats that day— spending part of the day with camera in hand, part with flowers in hand as she stood alongside the bride, part holding her sweet son, John David, part dancing with her husband. It was so sweet for the SC team to get to see Sinikka walking in those roles, loving her people extravagantly and still helping make sure the day was captured beautifully. We love you, Sinikka, and love watching you LOVE! Thankful to be on your team! (written by Kristen)
Aside from those sweet details- WHAT A DAY! This wedding was shrouded in peace and joy. There was a tangible excitement. Francesca had her bridesmaids step out while she slipped into her dress and the reveal was incredible; tears and laughter and hugs- just an evidence of love and friendship. It was so sweet to watch, and was an indicator of how the whole day would go; deep love, deep friendship, deep joy.
Fran and David didn’t do a first look, but met to pray before the ceremony. I pulled out my phone and jotted these words down after they said them, as they were so reflective of their hearts, of their wedding day, of their lives, “ Holy Spirit, we want to commit ourselves to You before committing ourselves to one another.” Their ceremony was beautiful, Christ centered, and full of incredible music, orchestrated by the bride herself.
The reception was also full of special touches. The bride and groom surprised their parents with slide shows of images from their childhoods that played during the father/daughter and mother/son dances. There were tears all over the room! I heard Francesca say, “this is so much fun!” repeatedly while dancing throughout the night. This couple soaked in all the moments and truly seemed to enjoy their day to the fullest. The DJ sent the crowd out to prepare for the sparkler send off while Fran and David enjoyed one last dance, just the two of them, to finish out their perfect day. It was so wonderful to watch their love for each other and their friends and family surrounding them.
This past weekend, I had the absolute privilege of working alongside one of my favorite vendor teams while being a bridesmaid in my best friend and brother-in-law’s wedding! To say that I had an incredible time is a serious understatement and I cannot wait to relive their day again and again when the photos and videos from their spectacular day are done! A huge thank you to this flawless crew and so many hugs and so much love to my two favorite people. (written by Sinikka)
Fran and David, as your sister-in-law and sister for life, there are truly no words to express my absolute love for you. Your wedding day was a pinnacle wedding in my life and I will forever remember how adoring you were of each other, while we adored both of you. Please know there is no deeper love that can flow from my heart than for my closest family, and you two will be held in that deep place forever. Welcome home, you two. With great love, Your forever sister, Sinikka
