The moment I heard that Nigel’s outfit might outshine Jocelyn’s, I knew it was going to be a good day. I hadn’t seen him in the morning but as he walked down the aisle with his mom, I totally understood!

Nigel is one of the most fly grooms we’ve ever had, with a statement suit that matched his personality – one of flavor and spice.

I will say though, I couldn’t tell you who looked better but they looked incredible together. Jocelyn’s satin, clean-cut dress, perfect updo, and flawless makeup made her a serious beauty. Also, there was so much beauty that I couldn’t keep but commenting on it during prep, my gosh! She was STUNNING!

It was during their ceremony that I got teary-eyed, because while their outfits were stunning, their hearts were pure gold. Their mentor couple spoke words of wisdom and grace over them both before they said their I Dos, fully committing to covenant love – the kind of love Jesus has with us – and I still wish I remembered to ask for a copy of the pastor and his wife’s words, because I want to frame them.

Jocelyn and Nigel, not only are you the most stunning, you’re also the most gracious as I bowed out later that evening due to dehydration and our 2nd and 3rd photographers kept the party going. I thank Jesus for you both, an incredible team that never skips a beat, and water. You bet I’ve got some next to me now while typing 🙂

Then most recently, we got to photograph them in the beginning of their next new journey: parenthood. Becca and Jared, we are […]
