By the end of this episode, I want you to carve out daily time to pour into yourself so you can pour into others

Ya’ll, I was sick this past week. It was the last thing i thought about – i was ignoring my personal needs. I didn’t eat when I should have, and working out was the last thing on my schedule. I felt guilty taking time out for my own decompressing & debriefing, and I faltered. Like me, you will falter. You will burn out. So let’s get better, ya’ll – because the best defense is a solid offense, and the best way to serve the world is to serve yourself first so you’re filled up enough to take on serving the whole word.

 If nothing else, what I want you to remember is that:

• You are your team’s biggest asset. 

• Pour into yourself so you can pour into others!

Reflection Questions: 

• Why do you feel guilty about making time to be by yourself?

• When can you realistically schedule time for yourself everyday? 

• What type of self-care would be most beneficial for you?

Your Weekly Challenge

• Look at your calendar tonight, I want you to schedule segments where you (1) get by yourself, (2) eat something healthy today, just today
