The moment she saw him, her heart exploded with love. Honestly. It did. We have photos of the incredible moment where Rachel’s soul broke the silence and breathed in the magnitude of the moment as she walked up the aisle to her groom. She let out a cry, and it was everything perfect.
When I had prayed with her that morning right before she revealed her dress to her bridesmaids, I prayed she see Christ in Chris, and I truly believe she did. She did all day. He was her rock, her peaceful place, her restful shoulder as she found her way through each and every step of the stressful chaos of guests, family, food, timelines, and smiling for what seemed like forever.
Rachel, you are one of us girl. Seriously. You are the girl who leans on her rock, reminds herself she needs to breathe, and lifts her hands in worship of the one true God. Sweet Rachel, we pray you rest now that the beautiful beast of a wedding day is done, and we seriously are so excited we got to journey with you through it 🙂
